Human Position Sketches

This is 3 sketches of how I was thinking my characters should stand. The first sketch is of a person holding a spear in an attacking position. I had chose to think of this position, to show that they were attacking something to get food, they would also be running forward to catch up to the target. The second is of a person on a kneeling position to be stealthy, and also to see if they can see any tracks of animals so they can find food. Finally, the third is of a person on lookout so they can see any animals and people nearby to either hunt or speak to.

Mindmap

Here is an mind map of all the ideas I had thought of when I was thinking of ideas to start my project and what it should be based around. I was thinking of the different types of things that would be present when doing my type of work in a primal theme. I had thought lots of the animals but also on the different types of things that the two main characters would have with them. Also, this mindmap had helped me to think about the different types of locations that the final piece could be presented in such as an ancient building or caves etc.

Moodboard

This is my mood board, and it has a lot of the pictures I had considered when I was looking for the theme of my project. A lot of them I still look back to now as they are very helpful for me designing my characters, and seeing how I can blend my character into the environment. The concept art pieces were also useful, as they helped me to see how I could set out the scene in the final Photoshop piece.
