This is some work from a Artist at Ubisoft who worked on FarCry Primal as an concept artist. In his work he uses carefully chosen colours to help him to blend the work together. In the first concept art he depicts a tribe fighting each other while two watch the others fight, I find this very beneficial to my work as I can see how he has got the characters to blend with the environment and also, because I am doing character concept art so I can see in the picture, how they are position and how much detail they have on them. Also, the artist uses the golden spiral in my opinion, as he puts a lot of action and detail of the concept art towards the right side of it and in the way the picture flows, it is similar to the spiral. The second picture conveys a frozen wasteland with carcases and birds near them. This is also useful as in my concept piece I want to include some type of animals but, in far less detail as I want to make the characters the main focus. The other images are his concept art pieces for characters, which are also useful to me as I can see how I should colour my character and position them so they look like they suit their type of stance.
